What we do

ButterBlogs writes blog posts for a specific brand — not generic copy. Every project has its own Context Engine: a permanent store of that brand's voice, rules and real writing samples, used to train a persona that sounds like the brand rather than a template. From there, ButterBlogs does the keyword research, looks at what's already ranking for those terms, writes the post in the trained persona, adds internal links, schema markup and meta tags, and publishes it to the site. It also has a Revise Existing Post mode for improving content that's already live, and it's multi-project — an agency can run one isolated project per client, each with its own personas, brand context and rules.

Why we built it

Blogging is still one of the highest-ROI channels a business has — but the bar moved. Publishing more low-quality posts doesn't work anymore, and it's no longer enough to win in Google alone: content now has to hold up in AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini too, which cite sources that demonstrate real expertise rather than the loudest or most repetitive content. ButterBlogs exists to close that gap — pairing genuine keyword and competitive research with a brand's real voice, so the result reads like it was written by someone who knows the subject, because it's built to.

How ButterBlogs works

Open source: next-blogpanel

Alongside the product, ButterBlogs builds and maintains next-blogpanel, an open-source, MongoDB-backed blog engine for Next.js. It's a genuine, publicly verifiable piece of the same infrastructure ButterBlogs uses to think about publishing — free to inspect, fork or run on its own.

Our approach to quality and EEAT

Google's guidance is clear that it penalizes low-quality, unhelpful content — not content because it happens to be AI-assisted. ButterBlogs is built around that distinction rather than around it:

• Citations and sources. Posts are built to reference real sources rather than assert claims with nothing behind them.
• Real research first. Keyword research and analysis of what's already ranking happen before a draft is written, not after.
• Structure that matches ranking pages. Posts are structured like the content that already performs for a given query, not a one-size-fits-all template.
